In 1970 after their rise to fame in the UK and North America the Who released their first live album,
The Who Live at Leeds.
The original release featured only 6 songs of their performance at the University of Leeds Refectory in Leeds, England on February 14, 1970.
A subsequent release in 1995 also included tracks that weren’t included on the original album and were part of the entire concert. We feature some of those here after the original six.
The deluxe version in 2001 included tracks compiled from both concerts and featured songs from the second night’s show at Hull, England.
Those tracks are featured in Part Two and have live versions of songs from their double album Tommy. (Make sure you tune in for Part Two).
