The program is of a multipurpose focus; my aim is to enlighten, educate, elevate, and promote the awareness of the black culture, history, legacy, and tradition. Through music and literature I will explore many areas of this rich and diverse culture. I intended to address topics to expand the mind of individuals and explore historical legacy that is render dormant and has not contribute anything to present society.
I am driven to create an environment with interactive events such as interviews, literatures readings and spoken words/poetry. I will offer traditional, historical, cultural, musical dialogs to build awareness and motivate the black population to embrace and appreciate their hidden legacy.
