The Hamilton Flea will be putting on The Rally Market, on Saturday June 23rd, ahead of the Arkells sold out Tim Hortons Field show. Hamilton Flea and the Arkells worked together to give a true Hamiltonian pre-show experience full of treats, merchandise and vintage items for sale. The rally market will go from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the gate one entrance on Cannon St. and the event will have over 20 vendors.
Whitney, founder of Hamilton Flea, explains they wanted to bring forth local Hamilton vendors and inject a true sense of community to show those coming from outside of Hamilton what we have to offer. The Rally Market will show how full and rich Hamilton’s arts and culture scene is. Bringing in vendors from Toronto as well allows the ability to compare the businesses in Hamilton to those of larger Canadian cities. This is done to prove that Hamilton is a viable business center and that their businesses are of the same quality as its neighbours.
While the Arkells do not represent Hamilton as a whole and there are still many areas which will not be represented at the Rally, it is a great opportunity to show those who are not a part of the Hamilton community a glimpse into what the city has to offer.
