On today's Unusual Sources, Doug interviewed Santiago Escobar of the Union of Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) and the Agricultural Workers Alliance, who described the ongoing struggle to improve working conditions for the tens of thousands of migrant farm workers in Ontario and across Canada. While there have been some recent improvements in the treatment of injured workers, agricultural workers continue to be deprived of the right to organize, and are denied residency status by our government.

In the second half of Unusual Sources, we replayed Phil Taylor's recent interview with writer Fred Jerome on his book The Einstein File, which documents the harassment experienced by Albert Einstein from the FBI and others for his work on civil rights, peace, and other progressive causes.
