I speak with Mariam Yousefi, the founder of Minds in Need of Attention (MINA), a mental health advocacy and suicide prevention group which aims to increase awareness about mental health, educate communities on the signs of mental illness, and support teens and young adults through their Youth Ambassadors Program. We discussed the importance of educating parents and teachers, how students and young people can become involved, and Mariam's personal experiences founding MINA. MINA is a registered Not-For-Profit organization, and their website can be found here.
